Description

What happens when you take one simple principle and push it in different directions? In this hands-on workshop, we’ll explore how changes in structure, proportion, and detail can create entirely different possibilities from the same starting point.

Over two days, we’ll experiment, compare, exaggerate, and refine. The goal is not to learn a collection of lettering styles, but to understand how styles are built. Starting with simple principles, you’ll develop variations, sharpen your observation, and discover practical ways to make your lettering practice more flexible.

Material list

• Pencil (Mechanical pencil of your choice with 0.5 or 0.7 lead)

• Eraser (Regular and Round Mono Zero Eraser)

• Ruler (~10”)

• Pad of marker paper (or any paper you can see underneath) - No smaller than A4/Letter size.
